Tackling the Col de la Madeleine means confronting one of the toughest and most legendary climbs in the history of the Tour de France. With its nearly 2,000 meters of altitude and relentless gradients that offer no respite, this ascent is so brutal it defies any classification—it is simply a giant of the race.
First introduced in 1969, it was Spanish rider Andrés Gandarias who conquered its summit, battling through a snowstorm during that year’s tenth stage. Our Col de la Madeleine jersey, part of the Maillot Jaune collection, pays tribute to this historic moment with a blue design crossed by a horizontal yellow stripe on the chest, inspired by Gandarias' team colors.
Made from high-performance Polartec® Power Stretch™ fabric, the jersey offers a slim fit that perfectly contours the body, ensuring optimal breathability and freedom of movement. The raw-cut, extended sleeves enhance aerodynamics, while the fabric guarantees immediate shape recovery. Classic Fit
Regular fitting jersey. Soft on the body for those who look for a more classic fit. If you like a jersey with classic fit but you prefer a tighter fit, we suggest choosing one size smaller.
