The Shimano XT chain is the first chain that is specifically designed for MTBs. The adapted geometry of the links provides mud and dirt little contact surface and provides excellent shift quality. To achieve this, the chain running direction bound was designed. A native of the racing area Teflon coating reduces wear and increases durability significantly.
