The progression of any evolving entity hinges on the most precisely executed alterations. True significance lies not in mere power or intellect, but in the capacity to adjust to transformation.
The Filante SL draws its aesthetic, its design language, and its competitive essence from the Filante SLR, Wilier's premier aerodynamic racing bicycle favored by professional athletes in the most prestigious World Tour events. 1 The advantageous modification lies in the implementation of select, straightforward technical approaches. The distinct carbon fiber layering employed in the construction of this frame results in a structure that is less extreme and offers enhanced comfort when compared to the SLR variant. 2 Remarkably, this is achieved with a minimal increase in weight, amounting to just under 150 grams for a frame of identical size.
World Tour aerodynamics and design
The carbon fibre is used in a frame that mirrors the shape of the Filante SLR used by the professional cyclists of Groupama - FDJ Cycling Team. What changes is the frame module, using different fabrics made of composite material to create a new lamination. Though the substance may change, the aerodynamic performance does not.
Six frame sizes, glossy finish
The Filante SL echoes the racing geometries of its big sister, the SLR. Six available frame sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL. Five available colours with glossy finish.
Smart integration
No visible cables. The monocoque handlebar allows the allure of the Filante product range to remain unchanged.A technical choice that makes possible to contain the price without compromising the performance and the possibility to easily personalise the setup.

So, in addition to the classic values of height, length and angles, we now consider reach & stack data and horizontal and vertical distance values between the centre of the bottom bracket and the centre of the upper part of the head tube.
But modern bicycles have made measurement even more complex, since they are complete and complex systems based on the combination of the frame, handlebar spacers and monocoque handlebars.
